Why urdu only? آخر ُاردو ہی کیوں؟

Posted on: September 4, 2007

Aliphbay.com was an effort from my side when i have a lot of time to think and do something which i love to do. Poetry comes natural to me, but its hard to balance real world and world of a poet along. These are my views in 2008. Now, i am changed. Many  of these opinions are void now. It is there for the reference.

Urdu is the language that has regional history, a mixture of some other languages. Its importance has been overlooked as it has been spoken by a major people group in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal etc.

It is due to the fact that its my mother language.

My vocabulary is better in Urdu than any other language.

I want to force people to read Urdu, and to feel that upcoming young people are doing good.

Google has no urdu translation facility. or any project which does urdu to english translation. See you self No Urdu translation by Google into English

Urdu Poetry is not progressing, it need a change a good one, we need another Ghalib, another Iqbal , one Faiz .

Urdu Unicode used by aliphbay.com has given it a uniqueness in its own. Soon People will Focus on this style of web presentation.

Every creative effort has a price. I dont agree with it. Its always Priceless, like Human Life. I will not make it a source of income. InshaALLAH.
